You'll definitely need to look up YouTube videos on how to disassemble your old FOB (I almost ruined mine), but once you've disassembled the old one is the installation of this new case super easy. It looks great and will keep your remote looking like new. All buttons work perfectly. I highly recommend. It's just a case, not a remote exchange - you don't have to reprogram anything.

I don't give anything 5 stars. However, the thing works perfectly. That sucks for some users, but it costs $10 or $175 to buy new remotes. you do the math Mine is assembled and working perfectly. Just pull back and it will go to the factory and get a replacement. It's a shame to take them apart. The battery works perfectly, all buttons work perfectly. Remote start works fine. zero problems. Silverado 2015 This case worked great. The original board was in great shape and was well tolerated. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because the keys are very solid and don't give feedback. The OEM remote makes pops or clicks when buttons are pressed. It's not like this. I've noticed that the new remote buttons are starting to give feedback after a few months of use. break-in period? As others have noted, the labels on the buttons wear off quickly. I've been using mine for a little over a month and the release button is showing some wear. I also see that the paint is peeling off a bit on the side. Looks like copper underneath (!), but time will tell if the wear and tear lasts. Also, the buttons require more effort than a standard FOB. When this wears out I can buy an OEM key fob and put my internals in it so the dealer doesn't code it to work with my car.

There are several replacement shells for the Revain and I chose this one because it looked like it was a two piece shell in the picture. There are actually 5. Like the others available from Revain these are top, bottom and two sides, just like the original remote. There is also a battery cover on the bottom, just like the original.
