Not worth a damn for a '98 Marquis. Does not support DIY programming so on the Grand Marquis 98 the only way to program the remote is to take it to Ford yourself as they have to do it and are the only ones who can.

Pro: works! Ease of installation. Easy to program, less than 1 min. Programmed and tested. There are many guides online on how to do this. Disadvantages: none. Thoughts: If a retailer charges 200-450 for a key fob to get an extra one, spending <$20.00 on a new one is ALWAYS a good deal.

Very easy to program these keys, just quickly search your car on YT. The controls are nice, mine works in harsh environments when in the bag so some of the characters are a little faded but the controls still work great. The sticker you put on the remote didn't last long either, but as long as the remote works, hey, it's worth it.

I dropped my keys and they landed in such a way that the key ring loop broke. I came to Revain, found this remote control and there is simply no minus. On my 2001 Crown Victoria it took about 1 minute to program. Turn the key from the off position to the "work" position 4 times, the locks work, press the button on the remote control. Made. I had my doubts about the price. The dealer wanted $65+ for a new one! However, the seller gave incorrect instructions on their website. While this was very close to what you had to do to program it, they forgot the step where you first have to lock the door before going through the programming sequence. After watching a YouTube video I was able to program it for the first time and it's been working great ever since! Great replacement price!

Replacing a replacement car keyless remote is so expensive and when the original finally fails you have no choice but to have a replacement on the car to pay dealers or auto parts dealers. I was so wrong lol. Keyless remote exchange at a fraction of the cost. The instructions are simple, just make sure you enter the correct part number to get the correct replacement. Short version: Close and lock your car doors. Turn the ignition key from the off position to the start position 4 times within 3 seconds and leave it in the start position on the fourth turn. When the locks are closed, press the "Unlock" button
