Is working! Nissan Xterra 2001

Bought for my 2001 Nissan Xterra. Works perfectly! Programming took 30 seconds. A simple YouTube video on how to do this can be made by anyone aged 7+. It said it wouldn't work for a Nissan Xterra, but I found other people here who used it on a first gen Xterra like my 1999-2004. No problem. beautiful. Lock, unlock and alarm work fine.

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Why just pay more!

Bought for my sister-in-law's car. The dealer wanted $100 each for them. I ordered them while their car was at my house and when they arrived it took me about 45 seconds to program both remotes into their 2004 Nissan X-Terra. Having used them, I'm not sure why the dealer doesn't consider it a crime to charge the kind of money they charge for these things. Next time you need key fobs for your Nissan (which these key fobs are compatible with), please don't even think about getting ripped off by…

Really works! for anti theft

So I was skeptical about these keychains, read the reviews and they were mostly positive but still not sure if I could get them to work properly. I followed the instructions and got no positive results on the first try. I restarted the whole process, went through all the stages and wa-la, it all worked! In fact, I was very proud of myself, although if someone can read and follow the directions, positive results can be achieved! I programmed a key fob for a 2012 Nissan Titan. The instruction…

their programming is an interesting technique.

Item works exactly as described but programming procedure is interesting. I was sure they were trying to draw one of them towards me. It took me about 5 minutes to plug and unplug the key before it got the right beat. After a few minutes I was sure it was just a joke that I was in the car having some weird ignition sex. Out. faster, slower. then suddenly the lights flashed on. I slowly inserted the key back in one last time, turned it to the Acc position, and culminated in hitting the button…

and as such quite rare and expensive if you can find one

This is a killer deal. I have a 2001 Xterra with factory removed FCC ID KBRASTU10 01A. Apparently this was only made for 00-01 so is quite rare and expensive if you can find it. I read on another site that this FCC ID has been replaced by the KBRASTU15 remote and that it will work in my car, so I took a chance. Thought it might be worth trying for $10 instead of paying $60-90 for ONE remote control on eBay. I'm happy to report that they worked flawlessly. The package included programming…

Works fine but 1 was DOA. Support replaced it with no problems.

One works fine but I bought a set of 2 and the other is DOA. The car flashes like it has registered the fob, but the fob still won't lock or unlock. The second fob works pretty well and may have even more range than the one I lost. However, if I buy 2, I expect 2 (working) fobs. Edit1: Raised a star. Called the company (they gave their phone number along with the product) and they are sending a replacement for the dead key fob at their own expense. Assuming a replacement arrives and works as…

Excellent purchase! - Keyless Entry Systems

So glad I took the plunge and bought it! I recently bought a used 2005 Pathfinder but it only had one key and FOB. After locking my key/fob in the car and calling a tow truck to get me back I called the dealer to inquire about a new key (chip key) and FOB would be the cost. They quoted me 140 for a chip key with programming and 240.00! Replace FOB with programming. I'll go to the locksmith for the key, but I wanted something right away if I was crazy again. Paid for express shipping but got at…

6 Months Interior Accessory Review

After purchasing the key fobs from eBay I was a little wary of ordering them from Revain as my last eBay set was within a week died. Needless to say, they were strong for 6 months. For the price it would be nice to have a year of it although the included CR2025 battery is pretty cheap and died within a few months but I was able to buy a regular CR2032 which is a bit larger to fit in the key. fob and it worked again. I would recommend purchasing a set of button cell batteries with your order so…

Acceptable (even) aftermarket match for my 2007 Frontier

*Updated 7/23/2016 *After a year they have become quite finicky and increasingly unreliable and really annoying to use; no battery problem. They've gone into the "backup" pile and I only use factory originals which clean up well with swabs and rubbing alcohol. Lower that to a two star rating. *End of update* They are exactly what they are. Same size, same design, same aesthetic. My Nissan OEM key fobs for my 2007 Frontier are getting a little "rough". New key fobs, two originals and my…
