Flawless programming

I was able to easily program it without going to the dealer. The only thing is I took the key to Walmart and even though it opens the car door it can't be used to steer the car.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Nothing here

These remotes work great. By the way

These remotes work great. Incidentally, my local hardware store cut the keys for free because I brought the blanks, and my local Chevy dealer programmed them because the service manager agreed with me that it's ridiculous for GM to require TECHII to program the remote ! I am very happy.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Negative impression

Good product! They were compatible with our 2011 Yukon

Great product! They were compatible with our 2011 Yukon. Yes, you need to ask the dealer to program the key and remote. Our local dealer paid $30 for key and fob programming. Having them cut the keys costs an extra $30. The dealer had half the price of a locksmith. We've been using them for 3 months and they've worked great with no issues.

Pros
  • . Good thing
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Better than going to the dealer for keys and fobs

Before you buy fobs and fobs, be sure to read your APO codes in the glove box to see what features you have installed ), BUT you can cut them in the ACE or anywhere you can cut the keys, the keyfobs for me had to be programmed by a locksmith. I suggest calling mobile locksmiths because I had mine made for 45 for a key fob, about $55 cheaper than the cheapest dealer I called.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • It's ok

Bang for your dollar!

Key fob took less than three minutes to program and is the perfect replacement. All buttons work as in high quality. The keys came blank, but I went to the local Walmart auto department and asked if they would cut a key for me. I was told they would but no guarantee the key would work. We cut one and I tried it and it worked like a charm (programs took a few minutes to watch youtube videos for it). Went back and they cut another, same result. So four times four, and now I have three sets of…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak
