They sent me a returned keyboard.

I paid for a brand new, unrefurbished device and the one I received was already opened up and didn't have a USB port so I can't even use the keyboard. I have started the return process and will purchase the same keyboard from another store. I love the keyboard itself and can't wait to get a new one and start using it! But I'm very disappointed not to be able to use this one, I've been waiting over a week for it to arrive. I have vision problems and have to work, which increases my productivity.

  • Worth the money
Cons

Well made keyboard and mouse

I really like this nice heavy keyboard and I can see letters and numbers clearly. The mouse works great with no lag and everything is solidly built with a nice finish. It has pre-programmed buttons at the top, or if they're not set up for your machine there are instructions on how to do it. I really like big keys because not only are they easy to read, but I can press only the keys I need at a time. The mouse is pretty good and designed for use, the buttons on it work great and have good…

You can tell you're typing, great for gaming. The nice clickety click feels like this keyboard is working great. A great programming keyboard that also helps you make fewer programming mistakes. It's weighted so it stays in place and won't slide around your table. I will definitely buy again. If you're worried it's a cheap piece of crap, DON'T WORRY, IT'S NOT! I haven't tested everything, but it sure is fast!

I think you get what you pay for but that doesn't stop me from being disappointed. The keyboard is pretty decent, does what it's supposed to do, lets me see what I'm doing. But the mouse is a different colored horse. It just stops working every few minutes for no apparent reason. The red light goes out and it just goes out. You have to lift it up about half an inch and smack it on the desk to get it working again, and we all know what that does to sensitive innards in the long run, even if you…

The first worked great for a couple of years until I spilled the drive.

This is the second keyboard of this type that I have had. The first worked great for a couple of years until I spilled a disc on it. BUT, the new one was a total disappointment! It skipped letters or did nothing when typing. I changed the batteries a few times etc. I ended up getting so frustrated that I went to Staples and bought a cheap wired keyboard. I've never used a mouse with either keyboard, they were unreliable.

It is visible but not working!

I like the visibility of this keyboard but it never worked properly. My computer broke so I didn't try to plug it in until I bought a new one last winter. Vain. Support tried to convince me that my new computer was lost because Windows wasn't installed. Finally, AbleNet sent "new". The box was opened, but there was no USB stick! I am very upset and want to use my computer! This is an expensive keyboard and apparently the only wireless keyboard available for the visually impaired.

Get out with the old and meet the new

My husband is going blind. He uses a 40 inch flat panel monitor as his computer monitor and has used this brand of keyboard for several years. His old keyboard lasted very well (about 6 years or more) until he accidentally spilled soda on it. last night and it must have burned his keyboard because it stopped working. gets stuck between the keys and when you press them to get the rice out it actually falls into the keyboard. LOL, don't ask me how I know). Anyway, after his failure, I knew the…

Complete trash

This wireless keyboard and mouse is everything I've ever wanted. Large keys for easy reading and typing. The reality was completely different. The buttons had to be literally tapped to do a real press. Even when the keys produced a letter, there was a delay ranging from a fraction of a second to about two seconds. Also, none of the keys are backlit, so I couldn't tell if caps lock was on, etc. Skip those. Complete garbage.

  • Great for a small home
