Fits exactly to the original

No problem with exchange, first thought bad bulbs until the new bulbs still shine. 2 ballasts replaced and new bulbs installed. Now everything works fine.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Nothing

Takes a few seconds

This replaces an existing identical ballast. We have 3 lamps in a room. This one takes a few seconds longer to light up after the other two are turned on. A bit annoying and makes you wonder if it's a bad thing.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Unreliable

Replace that crappy GE. That works great.

Matches beautifully with the Home Depot ceiling light. You think so. I have two lamps powered by this ballast and both are the same wattage. Works perfectly. Super bright. No more flickering.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Something different

Used to replace the GE replacement!

GE replacement ballast 2018 fitted in kitchen light. From day one, the GE ballast began to buzz noticeably and took a few seconds to fully boot up. The GE ballast died after 2 1/2 years after which it was replaced by Keystone ballast. Works great, turns on immediately and no sound!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • None

I've never seen a ballast fail so quickly! After replacing my old ballast it worked for about 1.5 hours in total before dying. Since it was a set of 2, I installed another one. I will change it to 3 stars if the 2nd is longer than a month and provided I received a marriage that passed quality control.

Pros
  • Lasting test results
Cons
  • Discontinued model

Works Great - Electrical

I have used 1 so far to replace an old "Universal Manufacturing Corp UMC 449-LR-LH-WS-TC-P" ballast that drives 22w ring lamps + 32w Lightolier light. Keystone is slightly smaller and lighter. The length could be 5mm (1/4") shorter but I was able to use existing mounting holes with a larger screw head. Works great so far, starts up immediately and runs with no flickering. Only a few weeks away so far but it seems to be good.I wonder if it can also be used with 12inch 32w bulb?

Pros
  • Fun
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Works great in Lithonia #11986 15 " low profile light

I bought this ballast to replace the EnergyPro ballast that was in my Lithonia 11986. hardware store. These lights use 22W 8" and 32W 12" bulbs. The facility isn't that bad. You will need to remove the bracket from the ceiling, insert the 8" bulb into the bracket, carefully center the ballast, mark the holes and drill new mounting holes. Before you start the project, you'll need some small self-tapping screws. , drill and install the ballast, the rest is just reinstalling the bracket itself…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • fades out
