Kicker 46CSC654 Coaxial Stereo Speakers Review

Replaced stock speakers in a 2005 Honda Element. The whole process took 1 hour from unboxing to driving and listening to music that finally sounds great! Great deal and very happy with this purchase.

If you like crisp, clear sound or deep bass, stay away from these speakers. I bought these because I've always had good luck with foosball subwoofers. Unfortunately, they sound terrible when combined with the 6x9 speakers in my 2017 F350 Superduty Crew Cab. However, I left the 10" Kicker Comp VR woofers installed. The kicker should skip the mids and stay with the subwoofers.

Used to replace the factory speakers in a Honda Accord. Big factory upgrade. The sound is crisp and clear at any volume. Not much bass, but that's to be expected from speakers like this. You definitely need a subwoofer. Didn't use any amps or anything like that, just straight to the factory system. I have no complaints about the performance of these speakers.

Decent price. Door loudspeaker replaced by SLK 230 from BOSE. The original speakers had no tweeters. In the SLK, the tweeters are located in the paneling on the door handle. Anyway, I also got new tweeters for the above room. Too much twitter now. Bose speakers are known for their bass I assume but they were 20 years old. I now have to turn the bass up 3/4 on the radio. Overall not bad. I'll see how they last for many years.

I bought this pair to replace a blown factory speaker in a 2014 Ford Fusion. They were listed as a direct factory replacement on another site. This was not the case. I had to modify/use the old speaker's outer rim/rim as a "gap filler" since the hole the 6.5" speaker came out of was about 7.5-8" in diameter. For 1999 Jeep TJ. The standard speakers were 5.25 and I was able to install a 6.5 speaker in their place. The only minor modification required is to cut the foam around the soundbar speaker hole with a utility knife after the soundbar cover is removed. By removing the foam under the cover, you can mount the speaker flush with the soundbar. Then drill 4 new holes for the speaker screws. I have never had better speakers and there have been many. I have subwoofers so don't use them for bass, but I have about 80 watts per speaker and it's only half as loud when I'm in my car. EDIT - After about 6 months at least one of them blew and hooked up to a 420w MAX amp along with 3 other speakers so it's definitely not clipping. After searching the internet for speakers to fit the Element doors and after purchasing a pair of Pioneer speakers which were said to fit - they will fit if the grilles are removed, I finally decided to try this.
