Kicker CWCD104 CompC Subwoofer Voice Review

I ordered two 10" dual coil subwoofers. Although both part numbers were the same on the boxes I received a dual coil and a single coil which forced me to reassemble my boxes. Very disappointing, but everything worked out.

Very powerful subwoofer for its size and precise sound. No blurring, just pure, clean bass. Unfortunately it wouldn't work in the factory case on my car. Very disappointed as the sound was very impressive, much better than the factory sub.

I'm sure the speaker is good quality, we bought it as a replacement because the voice coil in my son's subwoofer failed. We attempted to replace a defective speaker with a system not specifically designed for that speaker. There can therefore be no question of poor quality.

I remember when kicker was almost like a mystery. You can only get them at certain locations. I bought this one, had it professionally installed and it broke within a week. I invested neither too much nor too little energy to make it happen. I would keep looking if I were you.

This is a fantastic outdoor subwoofer. I mounted it on the back of my 2018 Audi S4 to replace the included B&O subwoofer. The subwoofer fitted perfectly with a 3/4" spacer ring underneath. The bass comes out very deep and clean. The frequency response is very flat from 28Hz to 80Hz with 27Hz at -3dB and 25Hz at -10dB.
