🚧 KidCo G4200 (10") Extension White - Expanding Safety Barrier for Childproofing Review

We bought a G2100 gate and a 10" extension. Our opening is 50 inches wide and the two walls do not face each other directly. This gate and extension work great and I am so happy to find a gate that fits both this larger door and the corner opening in the wall.

The only trellis that fits our ladder. But after 6 months we now have 4 broken bars on our 2 gates. Each rod has a small weld. Eventually they will bend and break, and eventually the bars will fall off. Seems I have no choice but to order replacement extensions now. Cheaply made and not built to last. You could at least weld the bars around the perimeter to attach them.

UNSURE. ATTENTION TO THE BUYER. We use this at the top and bottom of our stairs. The extension lost ALL bars. This leaves a large gap for our child to crawl through. I contacted the company and they refused to do anything about it. Where are the safety standards? How can it be on the market to protect children from stairs? Broke after 3 months of daily use. Welding is weak, cheap construction and certainly not suitable to protect a child from a dangerous staircase. 0 stars for customer service…
