Okay, I understand how many people think this doesn't work, but my husband found the switch under the train and has the option for both "leg strength" options or just to turn on automatically. Great toy for 2 year olds!

The cheapest slowest toy on the planet, even for a baby. Do not buy! Such cheap track is so weak that you can break it with your bare hands, the train is so cheaply made and hardly moves! Terrible!

Bought for my daughter as a Christmas present. After 3 uses, changing the battery, contacting Kiddieland Toys (which didn't help) and trying to troubleshoot, it won't move forward or backward. It's a shame because my daughter loved this train, please be prepared. I had very high expectations as I read great reviews before buying it for them.

We bought this for our daughter's birthday and she doesn't use it often. The train stopped running the same day we pulled it in. Only worked for about 15 minutes. The sounds, music and lights still work, only the wheels don't follow the track. The next day I came home, spun the wheels and started working again, but in the evening of the same day it stopped working again. I am returning this item.

Our two year old daughter got this for Christmas. She weighs 38 pounds and at first she failed. We replaced the regular batteries that came with it with branded ones and it made a significant difference. We strongly recommend using your own 6D batteries or you will be disappointed. I deducted a star for the batteries received, which seriously affects the quality of the goods.
