It was easy to assemble even with my limited skills. The shelves hold up more than I expected, they are deep and well made. I was able to fit our grandchildren's entire book collection on the bookshelf and still had room for a small basket of rhythm instruments. It really added something special to his playroom. This is a good buy. We are thinking of buying two more and putting them in the nursery pile for the next baby that is coming soon.

Colors are good. And that's all I can say about this product that I like. The packaging is typical Chinese packaging and shows a desire to throw away more. But the real problem is the quality. Screws are misaligned. And on one shelf, hand-tightening the screws resulted in a large crack in the wood. The biggest problem is the chemical smell. After assembly we had to leave it outside for 24 hours before we could put it in our son's bedroom. I would not recommend this bookshelf.
