Screws do not go into drilled holes. I've tried putting it together and it just doesn't work. I saw some other reviews saying something similar. I think it was poorly done and I abandoned the build and returned it.

I paid 2 times more than the other color options to get the grey/natural colored version and now I really regret that decision. The fabric is visibly misstitched in several places and there is one stain which thankfully is hidden by the books most of the time. The pre-drilled holes are terrible and the screws are very soft metal - some of which fell off during assembly. Overall the shelf looks and feels very cheap, partly due to the crappy stitching that would be fine for $20 but not for $50. I

This product was of poor quality when it came to the belt. Once assembled, you can see that it doesn't look like the marketing photos at all. When I opened the box and saw that the belt's fabric looked odd, I wanted to assemble it before jumping to any conclusions. The pattern was disabled, shades of gray didn't change. The fabric of the sling didn't have a hole for the pole (see pictures) so I had to attach a safety pin to hold it in place. Would you spend your hard-earned income on it?

Holes on the rods are not pre-drilled correctly so the screws will not go in easily/fully and be flush with the bookshelf. I think once my husband has removed the ones I couldn't get in (about 3/10ths) I can have him drill new holes in the bars for the screws to fit properly. In general, the appearance is pretty, but the overall product feels flimsy, cheap, and disposable. Should cost around $20 if you have to re-drill your own holes and maybe buy your own screws.
