🧼 ACT Kids Bubblegum Blowout Toothpaste, Large 4.6oz Tube Review

First fluoride toothpaste for my 2 year old. She likes the taste but has a hard time spitting out the excess. She'll definitely eat it if I don't let it out of my reach. Initially I was leaning towards marketing ('dentist recommended') and price but I would feel better if we switched to a more natural product even though the pediatrician says there are more benefits to taking than risks. For now, I prefer to avoid artificial sweeteners, colors and SLS for them.

Bought this because I have an aversion to mint toothpaste. Works well and tastes good. I would also like to find orange toothpaste with fluoride

Well I have a lot of crazy allergies and also Sjogren's disease and it's hard to find safe toothpastes that work well let alone taste good. Not to mention that most "specialty" toothpastes are insanely expensive. Finding out that Act Kids' mint pastes are safe was such a blessing. It has an ideal viscosity and leaves a smooth and clean mouthfeel. It's also not gritty at all and doesn't inflame my already inflamed mouth. It smears a little, but not much.

My daughter loves Act gum mouthwash so I bought this toothpaste to go with her favorite mouthwash. However, this is really disappointing. The texture of the toothpaste itself is messy, sometimes it doesn't stick well to the toothbrush and falls off. And the main problem is the design of the cap. It is very difficult to open even for an adult. My 6 year old daughter is often frustrated with not being able to open the lid. Sometimes she would just unscrew the whole lid to squeeze out the paste…

Like most kids. Mine think anything spiced with mint is hot or spicy. We have always used different brands that are considered organic and contain less harmful ingredients. But somehow I bought this at the local dollar store along with ACT mouthwash and my kids loved it. The ingredient list doesn't seem that bad, but it's not perfect to me. This toothpaste seems to impress adults more than children. Adults expect good fluoride from the ACT brand to help maintain dental health. Kids don't care about fluoride, they care about taste and texture. None of our kids liked the taste or texture of this toothpaste, and they usually like the bubble gum flavor, including ACT mouthwash. The taste is very mild and gums are barely noticeable (yes, I tested it myself) and the toothpaste doesn't foam as much as other toothpastes like Crest Kids…
