It's totally cool and if you need a cat scratching post - and if you have a cat you absolutely must have one - this is one of the coolest things I've ever seen! The cat immediately got to work! Relax. I just wish he had backorders for posts because I know they can get messed up fast!

Super cute and easy to assemble! My cats are over 10 years old and their scratching posts are worn out and I'm tired of packing them up and re-carpeting so I figured they needed something new. They love it and I think it's very cute and fun! It's worth it!

Looks really cute and my kitty loves it, especially when I sprinkle catnip on it. However, it is not very durable for a large cat. My cat loves to run around the room and dive into cacti - then she just drops her weight which scares her. Such a shame because he loves it and it's so cute - I'm just worried he'll lose interest in it because it's dropped a lot.

This adorable cactus scratcher took 5 minutes to put together. Great for a kitty but probably too small for an adult but I think we get our $20. Another disadvantage is the color reproduction; When I wiped it with a baby wipe after assembling it left green stains on the wipe. Not sure if it was a "wet only" problem, but I left it on a towel so it doesn't stain the carpet.

I ordered this after discovering my cat Mavis Staples was using the baseboard as a scratching post. It is very easy to assemble and before assembling I was worried that it would not be strong, but after assembling it is really very strong. It's also attractive in a cute/quirky way, and I'm planning on decorating it with lights for the holidays. Mavis hasn't shown any interest so far, but I'm sure if I use some catnip she'll adjust.

My kitten Lucy is in love with this scratching post - we have been working on her socialization and this stand has literally knocked her out of her shell, she is confident and loves to lay all her Toys into the base, this is absolutely cute - it's fun to use her fishing toys and wrap her around the cactus' arm as she grabs and swings without fumbling for the pole. I think this is perfect for those trying to socialize with new cats/kittens - great fun to play with.
