Good CDM speed but no drama and fast cache usage

I took this to plug into one of my laptops; I needed more space to play. Installation on my laptop was easy; It's a single-sided drive, so it fits in any laptop. This is the default size of 2280, which is important as many devices don't have posts set for sizes below 2280. The actual controller is a 2263XT, which is a dramless controller. So it's a scam for the end user and the controller is hidden under a sticker. Overall performance is "good" but this is a frameless drive so doesn't compare…

Excellent NVMe SSD in Internal SSDs

This 512GB Kimtigo NVMe SSD is a good solution for those who want to dramatically increase their read/write speeds, but don't want to spend a fortune to upgrade to one want to spend NVMe SSD. An SSD with this value is a great option for base-performance machines or for use in a redundant or external enclosure where you are already limited by the maximum enclosure/USB bus speed. I used it in an office computer with an older 3.5" SATA SSD and it fits this computer perfectly while increasing…

Worked well with an external USB-C adapter

I was expecting it to be even faster with an internal mount, but with an external USB-C adapter it was still much faster than the SATA -Interface. I was very impressed.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Very expensive

About what you would expect from a non-cache NVMe

So this is a 256GB model. When I first received this for review I did a little searching and there were 2 models of NVMe SSDs on the Kimtigo website: KTP-600 and KTP-700. The one on Revain says it's "KTP-660", judging by the configuration it probably matches the KTP-600. The difference between the two is capacity, and the KTP-700 has a DRAM cache. I believe the 1TB model could be the KTP-700 model as the KTP-600 was not available in a 1TB version at the time of receipt while the KTP-700 was. At

Best Disappointment Internal SSDs

I'll start this review by stating that I had never heard of Kimtigo before receiving this NVME drive for review. I usually only buy big brands for my hard drives because it's one of the last things I want to be cheap on. I value my data more than saving a few bucks. In any case, I'm not so naive as not to realize that the components can be the same as those from famous brands, so I try to keep an open mind on them. or replace an existing one) - External (via USB-A or USB-C ports, the latter is…
