Works great in stoners

This thing is great for making poppers. It also fits fairly decent sized jalapenos. One reviewer said to use smaller jalapeños, but I've found you can use fairly large ones. I bought the smaller ones I could find at the ranch market and some of them were actually undersized and failed. This is a great item and I regret not purchasing it sooner.

Jalapeno flakes for life

Ady thatsss . It's great for a smoker. I zip the filling back into the zip and cut off the top of the corner to fill the peppers. works perfectly. Less clutter and saves space! My husband likes it wrapped in bacon, so instead I just roast the bacon and add it to the mixture before filling. then he gets bacon too. I don't like them wrapped in bacon because bacon is never "crispy" for me and then becomes too greasy for my taste. So, yes, this little kitchen gadget is great.

Smoked bacon wrapped in jalapenos is great!

Bought this for my husband along with a Weber Bullet cigarette. I've made the smoked jalapenos recipe several times. 10 times out of 10 this is the FIRST thing to do when we have guests. This holder fits several jalapeno peppers and is made of stainless steel, so you can easily clean it from dirt. The pepper intestine remover also works like a charm. My only advice is to watch out for some of the edges as they can be sharp (if this feature didn't exist I would give it a 5/5). Make a great…

Dangerous but good.

Our family loves jalapeño poppers (ratons) and this rack is perfect for storing all ingredients and cooking evenly. Be EXTREMELY careful when washing! Soak in soapy water to dissolve the grease before washing. I cut my finger so badly I had to have stitches. Even circled holes are sharp. I read the reviews but thought it was only a handful of people who mentioned how spicy the bar was. I think they're all like that - or I was one of the unlucky customers. Anyway, this stand does what it's…

Nice concept but the holes are too close together

I bought this instead of the 12, 18 or 24 hole model so I can smoke 36 jalapenos at a time. There is no such happiness. Unless you're using very small jalapenos, you'll need to stagger them (holes 1, 3, 5 in the first row, 2, 4, 6 in the second row, etc.) and only use 18 holes. When I cook 20-24, I set the smallest ones aside and stick them in adjacent holes. They touched and the bacon didn't brown either. So that didn't work either. In the future I will not smoke more than 18 at a time, which…

Never thought I'd say this but my peppers are too big

I wish it worked because it's a great idea! First, is it obvious that the jalapenos in my area are too curved for the core to work with? Either I couldn't reach the bottom to get all the guys out or when I press it it pops out. Then I guess the jalapenos in my area are too big? They don't fit in holes like everyone else. What if I tried to wrap her in bacon? HA definitely not. I'm on a keto diet and my family and I are obsessed with bacon wrapped jalapeno peppers so I really wanted this to…

Works well in the oven

I use this rack to cook jalapeños in the oven. It's not perfect, but I like it. Pros: Stainless steel is easy to clean and thick enough to be used at oven temperature without warping. The coring tool works very well with large jalapenos. However, it's too big for a smaller jalapeno (the size I usually collect in my garden). To solve this problem, I bent the end of the coring tool inward further to fit the smaller jalapenos. Cons: - No bottom. It's good when you use it on a grill, but not so…
