Great but expensive brushes.

These are very good quality brushes in various sizes and shapes, perfect for any medium: acrylic, oil or watercolour. The brushes themselves are very elegant and beautiful. They work great and are fairly easy to clean. This is a really good set for the serious beginner or any artist.

Large selection of brushes

I'm a big fan of synthetic bristle brushes because they are easy to use and easy to care for. These brushes are high quality and well made. The bristles hold their shape well and look like they were made to last. I currently use this set with watercolors, but I also paint with oils and acrylics, so I love that I can use these brushes with multiple types of paint. Overall: This is a very good set with a good selection of brushes for artists.

Definitely worth a try!

These are good watercolor brushes and great acrylic brushes These brushes are well made, the synthetic fibers hold enough water and paint, easy to clean and have a good click. I love the variety of shapes and sizes, and I'm particularly impressed that they include Hazelnut, which is one of my favorite brushes and rarely comes in sets. I have nothing bad to say about this set and will probably consider this brand when buying brushes in the future.

Excellent ratio of quality and quantity

I probably have about 50 brushes and these are the nicest ones. The most I've ever spent on a single brush was around $15, but these are by far my favorites. The set offers pleasant variations in size and shape (flat, round, square), the bristles are very soft and hold well. Even after washing, I didn't have any loose or uneven bristles, which often happens with my cheaper brushes. The brushes left very clean and even strokes on my canvas. In terms of the number of brushes and how good they…

Featured product

Up until now I've been playing with my mum's old set that she had as a kid so the new set was a whole new experience. The bristles are smooth leaving a nice even stroke and they are very precise allowing you to get the detail you want in your work and achieve visible precision from small to large strokes. The handles are easy to hold and as this is a full set of 12 the choice is yours. The brushes are easy to clean and I accidentally forgot to clean the big one and it has been sitting and fine…

Great quality for the price

Love these brushes! I've used them on a variety of things - acrylics, charcoal effects and varnish - and I have no criticisms. They hold water and paint well and apply evenly without flaking. They clean up easily with soap and water and dry quickly, but simply rinsing with water between colors is quick and easy too. Make sure to rinse them off before use - they're a little stiff straight out of the box like they've been treated with something to protect them, but whatever it is, they rinse off…

Better than we deserve

They came to me as something I wanted to try on at Revain Vine. I'm not the type to draw often and when I draw it's usually not something to hang on the wall. But I love to draw and I try to share that joy with the kids in my life. We (they) destroyed these brushes, but in doing so they liked this activity. If I had another set I definitely wouldn't give them to the little ones again. The ones I used were excellent - I didn't find any hairs or smudges in my paints (which usually happens), the…

Cons
  • I don't remember

Very good brushes. Every time I read about synthetic horsehair bristles I'm curious as to what kind of compound is used and if it's just a gimmick to sell the brushes. Rest assured this is a good quality brush. I recently used almost all but the two largest brushes to finish a 10 inch real deerskin drum. While it looks small, it's a big undertaking and opting for a metallic finish means any blemishes, surface defects and streaks will be more visible than with traditional matte or matte paint. I
