I needed a solution to keep my flatmates' ashes from turning into a porch. It far exceeded all of my expectations! It's just a little metal trash can, and the design and looks are just awesome! It is exactly like in the photo. It's also pretty nice to use honestly. The only complaint is that the Lord is difficult to empty with little to no spillage, but that's a minor inconvenience compared to its usefulness. 10/10 recommend and will do again though

I'm the type of smoker who hates butts in the ashtray so I love it! I gave it 4 stars because throwing a cigarette butt in a tray is not as easy as you might think. And then there's the fact that when it's quiet in the room, it's noisy, you're trying to put your cigarette butt in the ashtray and your husband is asleep. I'm like, "Oh shit!" and then I immediately look at him to make sure he's still asleep. On the positive side, the tray always stays clean after I throw it away, which is nice.

Not sure why the reviews are bad. The ashtray matches the photos, especially those in user reviews. I like the polished red bronze. The color hides the ash well. It's not so brittle that it deforms easily, as one reviewer said. He probably went to too much trouble removing the lid. It was very difficult to remove the cover the first time. Be sure to take it off before use and then put it back on, not so tight. I put baking soda in it to mask the smell and it was very subtle. Exactly what I…
