Too bad this would be a perfect product if the edges of the handle were polished. Anyhow, any straight metal burrs from stamping or extruding the component have been removed, but there are almost sharp edges around the handle on either side, making the mug difficult to grip and use. To be honest, I bought this shaving mug because everything else in my bathroom is silver chrome (including the soap dispenser, razor stand, toothbrush holder, etc.) and not because I had high hopes of it keeping my shaving soap warm. The mug is great for mixing foam (wide and deep) and I get good foam with it every morning.
