The light from this night lamp is excellent. It might actually be too bright for a small bedroom, but it's perfect for an entryway or living room. New outlets tend to go in different directions, so does this salt lamp. There are no loose stones to fall out, it's one piece, one cylinder. And the smooth action of taking it off the bulb is, well, smooth. LOVE IT!

The product came in damaged packaging but luckily the product itself was not damaged. This is a neat little bathroom addition that really lights up a small space, is decently bright, and is very aesthetically pleasing. It would have been nice if the box hadn't been damaged as it's not a gift for anyone otherwise I would have been embarrassed. All in all, this is a good buy.

I like this light. It's easy to use and looks great. I've had mine for a few months now and the bulb still works. Two caveats: first, since it's made of salt, it will start to melt in an environment that's too humid; Second, it gets very warm if left for too long. I only use this light when I'm in the bathroom. I don't leave it overnight. A great product for my purposes.

We bought this in the hope that it would provide a soft light for our daughter's room at night (and an alternative to having a hall light on all night). This is a beautiful night light - bright pink and "magical" for a little girl. But the man is YRK. Certainly too bright for her room, so let's try it in the hallway. Great for making sure you don't trip, but not for the room you plan to sleep in.

More general lighting. Looks good when the bathroom light is off (if you don't mind leaving it on all night and the bathroom is used multiple times during the night), this can be a good bathroom night light. It's otherwise impractical and basically only looks pretty for that brief moment when you turn it on, see it, then turn on the bathroom light and don't see it. It would be better if there was a sensor on the lamp and it turned on when you walked by. Could make a good light for the hallway…

, I love Himalayan salt lamps. I have one on my bedside table, one in each of my bathrooms, one in my son's closet, one in our guest bedroom, and a giant one in the living room. I don't know if the claims are true but I love the idea that it purifies the air and since then my allergies have practically gone. I know it's more of a holistic all natural remedy but I 100% believe they really clean the air of negative ions and yes it's real salt because for some reason kids in the area where I live…
