Instantly connect two USB 3.0 ports to the back of your computer

Kingwin USB 3.0 Dual Port Cable with Bracket and Integrated 20-pin Connector (KW-PCI2USB3) I wanted some USB 3.0 add ports to my computer on my Gigabyte motherboard. I found that this product has 1 cable but 2 USB 3.0 ports. I took it and the installation was easy. Turn off the computer, install the bracket and connect it to the available USB 3.0 port on the motherboard. As soon as I turned my computer back on, I plugged in a USB 3.0 hard drive and it was recognized immediately. I am satisfied…

Pros
  • Handy Stuff
Cons
  • So far so good

Good for redirecting the front ports

I chose not to enable the front USB ports on my computer case so I bought it to avoid leaving a USB socket unused on the motherboard, worked as advertised and since I still have two USB 3.0 ports for use on the back.

  • Always liked

Works great for expanding my USB3 ports

The USB3 connector plugs into the USB3 port on your motherboard or compatible expansion card. I hooked it up to my motherboard which gave me the extra 2 rear USB 3.0 external ports and it works great.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Vulgarity

It works! I/O boards

Simple connector and blue cable which makes it easy to identify which USB port it is. Totally black you should look at the ends and then follow the wire back to the source on your MB. This can be confusing if you have a lot of black wires.

Pros
  • old fashioned enough
Cons
  • slightly wrinkled

Works I/O Boards

I didn't use it in the kit. I removed it from the supplied rear bracket and used it to upgrade an old PC case to provide 2 USB 3 ports on the front mounted in a salvaged CD drive case with a new faceplate. I haven't checked if it's as fast as USB 3. I was just checking that it recognizes a USB 3 portable hard drive.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Much

Works as expected: I/O Port Cards

Works as expected so far. Tested both ports and everything seems to work without problems. The product comes in a very cheap looking plastic bag with a cardboard holder. The cables are quite thick and long enough to reach the connectors on my Asus Z107-K motherboard on the CoolerMaster HAF-X. Computer box no problem. Will definitely buy another one when it comes time to fill the remaining USB3 slot on my motherboard.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Minorities

Perfect Computers & Accessories

There's not much to say about that. It connects and works. That's positive. Negative is also positive. The cord is quite long, but I knew that when I ordered it. It's a little difficult to hide in my app, but for others who need the length, it's there. I haven't had any issues so I give it a thumbs up.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Almost OK
