Try using a Mikuni choke cable whenever possible. I rearranged the ends of the HD cable but the plastic nut broke. The Mikuni throttle cable uses a metal nut. Works perfectly.

The threaded mount was easy to remove and replace with the one that came with the KIPA carburetor I bought for my Yama XV250. The mechanism has a nice click that ensures it doesn't slip into partial engagement.

The price was average but the product is below average. Came with no dial, doesn't work properly and was 2 inches too long. Not bolted for proper installation as the bolt system is too thick for the mounting hole. In general, I return this unwanted product.

Buy more expensive. This handle has fallen off, the clamp holding the choke is too weak (it spontaneously disengages and the engine stalls before it warms up), a nut is missing to secure it. Will have to send it back now, it's not worth 3 hours of work putting it on and taking it off and then putting on a working one.

I've never understood why sellers would send cables in coils. This has a metal spiral winding in a rubberized case. When the metal is bent, it does not return to its original shape. It must be shipped in a long condition with no creases. This is my second device from a different manufacturer. It definitely has a curve, not a pronounced one, but it can be used. We are waiting for UPS to receive more parts to complete the installation. It locks the extension, so that's a good thing.

I bought this to replace a faulty throttle body on my Sportster 1200C (the plastic housing broke when I overtightened the locknut). I was disappointed to see that this throttle seems to only have two settings, on or off. The original has a friction ring that allows me to adjust the throttle anywhere I want. I only use enough to start the engine and don't like revving it when it's cold. So I've strapped the broken choke to a bracket for now and will replace it when it becomes unusable.

Bought this because of the metal tip which is a weak point of the original, the plastic ends where I am on cable no 3. I didn't like the short piston travel I haven't tried starting the bike yet because it looks so different from the overdue overhaul bore, the new piston didn't go all the way in like the original Harley.
