I ended up buying 2 of these. Both broke on the first pull. There's a reason originals cost between $50 and $60. Don't waste your money on this piece of junk

Recoil is not the same as my current recoil. This will result in the spring not working properly. This kit does not include the plastic sleeve you need on the inside of the recoil.

I couldn't get it to work no matter how many times I tried. I've done that before with no problems. Maybe it's a fool, maybe. Judging by the quality of the casting I would say no. I regret not having purchased the complete assembly and being done with it

Never really used, installation failed and spool unwound. Be very careful with the installation and you shouldn't have any problems. start recoil.

This kit is junk. Installed exactly to factory specification, starter is not separate from flywheel. It snatched the rope out of my hand, severed it and then exploded inside the case, killing the quad instantly. Now I have to take it apart and hope it didn't destroy my stator or pulse coil. If so, I want to replace the part that destroyed it.

I was optimistic about purchasing this product but was very disappointed. I installed it correctly, double checked as it's very difficult to pull the entire assembly again, and tried to pull. Parts broke as soon as you pulled them off. Sent back in the hope that I received an inferior part. Did the whole process again. I got 5 tugs before the second rig was blown to bits. Very frustrating and a lot of extra work time to set up and take down.
