Beautiful and dainty: Charms

Beautiful little Gothic crosses. Bought to accent chainmail jewelry and earrings. They work great!

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Something different

304 stainless steel sticks to the magnet.

I didn't know. From the Internet "Try the magnet test. If the magnet sticks, it can't be 316, but it can be 304. If the magnet doesn't stick, it could be either a 316 or cold work 304, so heat the part to about 800C, air cool and try again with a magnet. If it sticks now, it's 304 stainless steel."

Pros
  • Hands-free device
Cons
  • Very expensive

They are ok

To me they are very small but cute on a bracelet. I think they would look good but they could be a little bigger, it's just a size I'm not a big fan of

Pros

I didn't know that. From the Internet "Try the magnet test. If the magnet sticks, it can't be 316, it could be 304. If the magnet doesn't stick, it could be either 316 or cold-formed 304, so heat the part to about 800Β°C, let it air cool and try the magnet again. If it sticks now, it's 304 stainless steel."
