This grinder does wonders for my spice collection. I mostly use it for pepper and it works great every time. According to my experience, it's easy to operate and clean. The charming, classical design is also a plus, it looks great in my kitchen. The only downside is that it's quite small, so it's not suitable for grinding large amounts of spices. However, for everyday use, it's perfect. A must-have for any Home and Kitchen enthusiast.

Works very well as a pepper grinder but I've tried celtic sea salt and it won't save her life. The wood and construction of the mill itself is first class. The acacia is beautiful and well built.

Nice spice grinder, but it creaks every time you use it! We wondered if the salt we had was too wet so we let it dry, tried a coffee grinder after a few weeks but nothing helped to get rid of the squeak. It's certainly a nice piece and a good size, but the high-pitched squeak is too loud for everyday use! We've also started noticing black spots coming out of the bottom of the grinder - we're not sure if this is a defective item or all.
