I really like these oven mitts which I recently put in the cast iron skillet and placed in the hot oven, needless to say they came out a bit on the roasted side I needed replacements. These are exactly the same but I bought a light green color so they don't go well with the pan and am thinking of taking them off the handle. They are perfect for lifting a heavy cast iron skillet out of my bottom oven.

These things are just the right size to grab pot handles or lid handles. They are absolutely heat resistant, no. they should be, no. While holding the pot with them, you might feel the heat on your fingers, but you'll never know you're holding something heated to hundreds of degrees. I definitely recommend these pens. ps green was cheaper than red or black when i bought them.

These handles are very useful when cooking. I have Le Creuset pans and need protection from all exposed materials. These handles help me hold pans while cooking without burning my fingers. For some reason Le Creuset thought it would be nice to make lid handles out of metal, so I also use these handles to keep the lids on fire while cooking. I feel like I've healed a lot of injuries using these handles and keep them handy for people to use in the kitchen.

I have used these short kitchen handles my whole life and have been looking for this specific product online. Sorry to be disappointed with their quality. The problem isn't silicone, it's that it's cheap. The seams came undone on the first day. Now it no longer looks like a "handle" but just a flat sheet of silicone.
