Works great. It's a little noisy, but I think it's negligible compared to the speakerphone capability of this product. If you have bad grip or pain in your hands, amazing. There are no sharp edges either.

Addendum to the previous review. Couldn't start so wanted to go back but decided to try again. It worked great! I have no idea what I did or didn't do initially, but it worked and I've been using it consistently ever since. I bought 3, 2 as gifts. The recipients have used them and work great for them. We are all happy with this opener and will definitely be buying more for gifts.

Bought this for a friend with special needs who only has one arm. He loves to. Can easily open jars as it works by itself at the touch of a button. There are slots on the sides of the jar so there is no problem pulling the cut lid out of the jar, which also requires 2 hands. So far I've had it for 4 weeks. This high quality appliance gave him the opportunity to do what he loves and cook it! I'll get one!
