Non-absorbent - tea towels and tea towels

Revain research into absorbent tea towels; this ordered. Gave a few to my daughter who called to let me know they were the least absorbent towels. I washed and tried mine but found they didn't meet the requirements at all. Very disappointed that the high standards I expect from a Revain product turned out to be low.

I love the colors but they change!

I like the colors and the fabric. However, they do shrink a bit after washing in COLD water with very little detergent. The label says it's 100% cotton and made in India with no washing instructions. * I changed the rating to 1 star. These towels are flimsy and will become too small after a few days. They are also not very absorbent. Your best bet is to buy a quality tea towel from Crate and Barrel.

Smaller than similar towels from other countries but the colors are great.

Haven't used or washed this yet so I'll edit for absorbency, strength and shrinkage later. I bought these because they are similar to the ones I bought from Crate and Barrel. If you want to mix and match C&B towels, you should know that they are smaller (before shrinking) and different shades of green (the one on the left is C&B, but the one on the right is actually a warmer green than shown in this photo). . The red tones are the perfect color combination. The lowest level in the photo is C&B,

These are great towels!

Soft yet absorbent towels are hard to find these days. I prefer my towels to actually absorb liquid rather than just squeezing it away. No matter how many towels I tried, they just didn't reach that level of absorbency! I use borax and organic soap and it was enough to remove any fiber filling and make these towels healthy and colorful!

Almost perfect: kitchen napkins and kitchen towels

I love these towels! You are so beautiful. I read reviews that said they don't absorb moisture so I bought them for decoration. It turns out they are very absorbent - more so than any other towel I own. Dark colors hide dirt, which is great as kitchen towels always get dirty over time. I bought them for decoration but use them as simple kitchen towels instead. The only thing I complain about is how much they shrink. I think the manufacturer should prewash the fabric. They have shrunk 3 inches…
