We ordered this for one reason - to save rice for distribution. At nearly $30, we assumed it would do the job well, but it didn't for us. We were going to use it on the counter but it's too flimsy as it seems to lean forward a bit. I'm disappointed in this dispenser. I buy dried beans and rice in bulk. I ordered this to have these items handy. Unfortunately the dispenser doesn't work. The included measuring cup is thin. I only bought these to dose rice. I didn't mount the dispenser on the wall for fear of falling since the rice is very heavy. The middle divider can be removed so I removed the divider as it is for rice only. Unfortunately, it doesn't spread the rice well.
