Klean Kanteen 2 0 Cafe Cap Review

These caps fit perfectly. Bought original bottles 5 years ago. The caps were simply worn out and leaking. They are much better than the original caps and work great!

for cleaning you have to disassemble it if it's not tea or water. I found that coffee gets stuck with milk and it's awful. It is very easy to disassemble and put small parts in the dish rack.

Fits snugly in vacuum flask. You can shake the bottle and no leakage. Can be left in a work bag on the way to the office and will not leak.

I had the original cap that came with my Klean Kanteen but the rotating cap was lost. This new cap comes in 5 pieces instead of 2. It seals perfectly and is easy to assemble/disassemble once you get used to the buttons.

Love the design of the lid as it doesn't open like Hydroflask coffee lids. However, please note that they are not suitable for wide-mouth hydro flasks. They will go on, but they don't flow well. I have used Klean Kanteen caps on other Hydro Flask items with great success. For this cap, make sure you have a bottle of Klean Kanteen.

Much better than the usual cafe cap. It leaks without leaks! But PIA is for cleaning as it breaks down into 5 parts for manual cleaning. I use these for my KK vacuum coffee mug. I use cream and sugar and it needs to be disassembled and cleaned by hand after each use. I now use an insulating open lid for coffee unless I know I need an airtight container.

The original design was much better. I can't pour that much into my mug because of the machine. Caps are now almost impossible to clean and have so many awkward parts that get lost in the dishwasher. Yes they are waterproof but I don't want or need them. I prefer the simplicity of the original two-piece caps. Please make them available to order again as version 2.0 is terrible.
