💧 Klean Kanteen Loop Cap: Stylish and Convenient Bottle Lid for Easy On-the-Go Hydration Review

Excellent Quality! Just a reminder for anyone who might be interested, this cap WILL NOT WORK with Keith or Heavy Cover Titanium bottles. I have confirmed on the internet that although it is the correct diameter, the threads are completely different. The HC/K piston is stamped with two separate threaded ports 180 degrees apart, this cover is single threaded. It won't work, no way, no way.

So glad Klean Kanteen sells replacement lids. I originally had a flat cap and as it was supposed to be dishwasher safe I put the bottle and cap in the dishwasher. Maybe only the bottle should be rinsed in the dishwasher because the rinse water got into the cap and spilled out when I turned the cap in certain directions. I bought this style as a spare so I can clip it to my bag, but I will be hand washing it.

I bought this because I didn't know if plastic caps would release harmful chemicals when exposed to essential oils like lemon. Not that it matters much, but as an added bonus, my bottle looks a lot better. I dropped the bottle on the lid handle twice and it bounced both times. Both times I managed to put the pen back on and it looks fine, just a little scratched. I think that's a great upgrade for any bottle, just wish it wasn't so expensive.

This is a custom made cap. There isn't much to say about that. Works great, solid construction. The only reason we bought it is because we have a couple of Kleen Kanteens and we often misplace one of the lids temporarily which creates a mismatch. An extra cover is really helpful. One surprise is that this cap has a solid bottom instead of a hollow one, unlike the caps that come with bottles. (where "bottom" is the part that goes in the bottle).

Unlike the sports cap that came with my original Kleen Kanteen, this one doesn't leak. I would have preferred not to spend extra money on this cap but the sports cap had a couple of downsides which was difficult to open/close and therefore easy to leak. While it's not as easy for quick sips, it's better than the alternative. A simple leak-proof mechanism that allows for easy sips of water (as intended for a sports cap) would be better, but until properly implemented this cap is a better…

Bought these for our bottles we have been using for years because our speech therapist said the spouts we had were not for facial muscles Unnoticed by me the new PLASTIK are leaching into my family's water (originally I bought bottles to avoid plastic)!It's been about a month since we've used them, it's taken so long to I found out what kind of friend it was, the taste was in the water! Very disappointed as we bought SEVEN! Almost $6 each! We will be going back to our old lids.>:(

I bought this for my 64oz. Double insulated growler. While I never had an issue with the original flip latch, I wanted to try something new. I considered stainless steel offerings and liked the look of bamboo, but the reviews mentioning creaking and corrosion put me off. Best of all, it's completely airtight. Because it's well constructed, you don't have to twist it hard to ensure your new top doesn't leak. "Comfortable" is good. However, if you really twist it, you can still easily unscrew it.
