Not suitable for large heads

If you have a large head (e.g. if you wear a tight L/XL cap like me) this will not work. I bought it because many websites say they will be required in the future and I have a full brimmed Klein helmet with a backlight. So I decided to try this. I adjusted the support frame as I put it on and I could feel the rear support points where it attaches to the helmet pressing against the back of my head. Comfortable to wear for long periods of time and the vents are a great feature.

Most helmets are uncomfortable to wear, lack ventilation and most do not have a chin strap, which means they can fall off the head when leaning forward. This helmet is a huge improvement over the helmet of the past. This helmet fits me better than any helmet I have worn in years. The padded straps are comfortable and keep the helmet securely on your head. The vents are a great feature, especially for someone like me whose head heats up very quickly. A little heavy, a little expensive, but way better than a regular $10-$15 hard hat

Sometimes you get what you pay for. If you don't need to wear a hard hat often, cheap ones will do, but if you wear one every day and move a lot, it's worth spending a little more. I only had these. for a few days but seems like money well spent. My old cheap hat was always a bit uncomfortable and sometimes even painful to the ears.
