Amazing quality. Must be . .

I love everything about it, quality, ease of use, buy a magnet, tube temp clamp and a miniature spark plug tester and you're done. The best on the market.

Cons

Great starter kit suitable for hand tools

Used this as a prize for my junior techs. A really good starter kit for new HVAC professionals. I have an accurate counter as a spare on my service truck.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

A good starter kit for ventilation and air conditioning.

You've got a pretty good starter kit for the price. This kit, which includes some Channel Lock and Klein hand tools and a Vito bag, should cost around $300. I think you're ready to go. I recommend you upgrade to better hardware as soon as possible. Buy longer leads instantly. They are inexpensive but necessary. A good backup set in case your essentials get broken or stolen.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Obsolete

Good quality. - Hand Tool

Nice set although I don't use it for HVAC. I like the non-contact voltage detector/flashlight, especially the low voltage mode. Anyone who is interested in the temperature of a wide variety of things will love the infrared/probe thermometer. Nice features are the non-contact voltage tester and the probe holder in the clip. The meter itself seems to be constantly trying to auto-range, so it's sometimes difficult to get a reading when you can't keep the sensors steady enough or there isn't enough

Pros
  • Best in the Niche
Cons
  • Will be added later
