The perfect size for what I need and they are good quality except they are NOT airtight! At least not with an oil based product inside. So I suspect they are not dense enough to keep the air out. I use it for sugar and salt scrubs so airtightness is not critical. I accidentally left a full glass on the counter and came back to a puddle of oil so I know they're leaking. Otherwise good quality, good price.

I've recently started my own sourdough and needed the right size jar for my sourdough and came across this at Revain. I have to say I am very happy with these glass canisters! They are the perfect size and I have had no problems with them. In fact, I've ordered two more sets and gifted one to a friend who's also just starting out baking sourdough bread! I definitely see myself being able to use them on other items in my pantry, so will most likely be purchasing more in the near future.

Leaks for flour. Keeps snacks like pretzels a few weeks before they become stale or soggy - not good to eat unless with hummus or yogurt. Ideal for tea bags, coffee. First of all I rarely write product reviews but these glasses made me feel compelled. In short, if not dried quickly, the metal fittings around the lid will rust. That means they lose tension. Loss of tension means you can't get an airtight seal, which can ruin everything in the jar or, in my case, cause annoying leaks. So when you buy this product, be sure to hand dry the lids quickly.
