Fantastic and full sound, great looks, great price!

Oh those freaks! After almost 10 years, I finally replaced my Onkyo home theater system with a box system. I selected these reference speakers for the front left/right channels in my surround sound system in addition to the center channel and subwoofer from the reference line. These speakers sound fantastic! They have excellent highs and mids for a full and crystal clear sound. I ride them with a Sony STR-1080 receiver which works great for them. I no longer have a hard time hearing quiet movie

Perfectly Happy, good for home audio

I bought these speakers to replace a pair of Pioneer BS21 speakers. I wasn't dissatisfied with these speakers, but thought it was time to buy something better and more affordable. I've done my research and it seems to fit the bill and they definitely did. Let me just say I'm in my 60's and my taste in music leans towards 70's and 80's rock with a bit of jazz. I'm not looking for a big bass, monster. Also due to the size of my room I want something suitable. These speakers have a very wide range

Brilliant. Very satisfied, so far

for my small living room hybrid entertainment center. I drive them with an old Sony TA-AX401 amp that I've had since the 80's. Audio source is Tascam 202MKVII tape recorder or Apple TV/Chromecast digital input. With this amp and for a room this size, these speakers do an excellent job. Thought to take a sub. But now that I hear them. Actually I'll skip it. This amplifier does not require a subwoofer with DBFB Dynamic Bass. The subwoofer will only annoy my downstairs neighbors. (But if you don't

Pros

- bookshelf speaker

Please note - I am an elderly person with high frequency hearing loss. Those of you with golden ears might have a different opinion. I used B&W mid-range home theater speakers, a Polk subwoofer, and a $1,000 AV receiver. B/W is smooth, with good dispersion, but lacks sharpness to the point of being muted. The Klipsches were purchased to be used as an extra pair of front speakers (front A+B configuration) in hopes of remedying these shortcomings. The upper mids and highs on my system now sound…
