Clear, tight bass! for loudspeaker

I have 10" and 12" models. The 10" delivers cleaner and tighter bass than the 12". The 12" is obviously more attractive, but the 10" will do the job. I'm in love with both of them.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • So far so good

Best subwoofer paired with two R-15PM speakers

Obviously size doesn't matter, this thing literally rocks my house. Superb build quality with superior sound like I've never heard before. Since pairing this with my two R-15PMs, I hardly ever use headphones.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Worth every penny. for subwoofer

i can't turn more than 1/4 otherwise my house will start to shake. The thing works a lot better than I expected. I bought it because of the many good reviews and they weren't exaggerated. My wife hates this speaker so passionately and I love it even more. This is the best subwoofer you can get for this price.

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • i don't like it that much, everything is fine

I have this paired with a in my family room.

I have this paired with Klipsch Quintet speakers in my living room. That thing hits the key! Deep, tight bass. I've had it for 2 1/2 months and family and friends have visited us several times during that time. Everyone is very impressed with this subwoofer. My next project is building a full home theater in my basement and Klipsch subwoofers will definitely be installed there.

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • No

Sounds bigger than it looks

As the owner of a 15" Klipsch Reference Premiere subwoofer I wasn't expecting much from the Reference 10" especially after seeing them side by side. but wow. It hit me. What struck me most was how undercolored and how open the 10-inch headphones sound compared to the 15-inch, and while they definitely can't fill a room like the 15-inch, they hold up very well . Worth every penny.

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Great value for money

I bought this to add to an 8 year old Klipsch subwoofer I was using (KSW-10) and thought it would sound very similar since both are 10 inches tall. Drivers and have similar power. This new one blows the old submarine out of the water. It feels like it's almost twice as strong. I cranked the gain to about 9/11 and the volume on the receiver and was amazed at the powerful sound and total lack of distortion. I have a fairly large bonus room with vaulted ceilings and this sub does a great job of…

This is the highest rated subwoofer on multiple websites for a reason.

Do a quick search for the best sub 500 home subwoofer and this little guy will find it. Almost always the first choice, and for good reason. Klipsch is easily one of the best audio companies out there. You won't be disappointed with this little guy, he can be very loud and easily overpowers my two floorstanding speakers. I originally had a 12" version of this subwoofer for my basement fitness speakers. My taste in music ranges from techno, rock, pop and some rap. The 10" subwoofer is noticeably

Tight and clear bass - no boombox

Subwoofers are very difficult to choose based on reviews. This is because different buyers are looking for different things. I've been a rock musician since the early 1960s. This can make a person think I want lots and lots of bottoms. In a way it is. I want whatever's in the mix. The sound that the sound engineer heard in the studio would be ideal for me. And here's the thing, folks. It's not boom. For the most part (on a well-made record) it's tight and punchy. A sound quite different from…

Thin, thunderous, powerful body rumble sound!

Had a Polk PSW10 for a couple of years and was happy with it. I recently bought other Klipsch speakers - they are fantastic! This subwoofer pairs so well with other Klipsch speakers that I just get a powerful sound. .how do you describe the sound?!?! Sub can knock. no problem, but you can hear and feel it when watching films. All of my Klipsch Reference speakers sound great and can be very loud yet clear with no distortion. The subwoofer complements them so well that it simply fills the room…
