🔧 Enhanced Flare Nuts for FLTR (1998-2013) by Klock Werks Review

Why the heck doesn't Harley Davidson use these instead of the cheap nuts that come with the bike. Every time I change my windshield, I've needed at least one, if not more, nuts. I immediately notice that I no longer have to stock up on spare nuts at home. Great product from a great company.

I replaced 5 HD Wellnuts nuts. 4 out of 5 were damaged and could not be reused. So I decided to replace it with something better. I remembered that my Klock Werks windshield came with literature on its nuts, so I ordered a kit. The material is better. I removed wi dsueld once after installation and they are still intact. I would buy again.

A bit pricey for what you get but from the reviews I can tell the quality control has improved a lot. I kept seeing people write that they weren't fully woven or that the thread was bad. I was fully prepared to skip them before using them, but all five were perfect. Screws and washers would have been fine for the price, but my original hardware worked fine.

I ordered this one even though it was more expensive due to the Klock Werkz in the name. Although the name doesn't seem to mean anything. I paid $30 for 5 fountains. Only 4 came. Of the 4 that came, only one was properly filled. The remaining three are completely useless as you can't screw a screw in. What the heck is that $30!? And where is my 5th nut?! Update: I tried trading them in as they were useless. They sent me 5 more which didn't work either. I'm returning them to get my $ back.
