Good filter but the best of filters

Easier to install if you are a little less experienced with the engine you are replacing and see in the description that it comes with an external oil filter holder/housing , anything . That's not true, but luckily that's not a problem, at least for z125 and Groms.

Does NOT come with the o-ring shown in the picture.

Looks like the photo. It's good? Who knows. I know the photo shows it comes with an O-ring to seal the case cover, but NO O-ring comes with it. The rubber ring in the filter did not fit the tube in the housing exactly. I would not buy this again.

K&N quality same price as OEM

I have used 6 of these on my CRF250L Rally now and am happy with them. I change the oil every 500-1000 miles because the bike is often ridden at high rpm, in dusty conditions and also in high ambient temperatures (Texas). So far no problems with filter wear or breakage, but I certainly didn't expect such things from K&N.

Great filter, no extra o-ring

Works great except it doesn't come with an extra o-ring like other case cover filters. If yours is leaking, you won't get a new rubber o-ring. But if you just need a filter, great! It's not just a coincidence, I've bought them sporadically for my 1994 Furtruck since I've seen the brand and they've never been around.

Oil filters are good, K&N is a good name

Oil filters are good, K&N is a good name. However, the description says they come with new o-rings, which is not the case. I bought several at once and the o-rings need to be changed when changing the oil. Now I have oil filters and can't change the oil without trying to find new o-rings. That's disappointing and surprising for a company like K&N.

Tiny filter, big performance

I can't tell you how much more efficient this filter is than the stock filter but it was a perfect drop in replacement for my 2013 CBR250R. The materials appear to be the same as the others. A few tips for those who work around the house with the same motorcycle 1) Remove the filter cover slowly as there is a spring inside to ensure a good fit. You don't want to lose him. 2) DO NOT overtighten the four bolts on the oil filter cover. They are easy to remove. 3) DO NOT overfill oil (as with any…
