Works great after a month of use.

So I ordered this in July, it's now November almost the end of November and the four wheeler I ordered it for is working fine. I was originally considering ordering an OEM product but figured that K&N has always had good products so I ordered this one and it was not disappointed. From now on I will choose a product, it is cheap and reliable for me.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Availability for exchange

Perfect fit for 2005 SV650

I like having a nut on it because the filter sits on my bike and it's difficult to tighten by hand so I use a nut to tighten it. Wrenches, but I'm not crazy about them. I pretty much lower it by hand and then turn it 1/4 turn with a wrench. It also makes it super easy to remove the filter, assuming you didn't run into it with a 200-pound gorilla when you screwed the filter on.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Minor issues

Everything I use in my bike and car

I've done some research on different brands of oil filters and K&N offers the best value for money. There is a video on YouTube where the filters are compared. There are those that show what the filters are made of - metal, plastic, even cardboard inside. Look for unsponsored ones. For a dollar more (if that's it!), the extra protection is worth it. In addition, filters do not require a filter key. A standard wrench or socket and ratchet is all you need. Do you know where YOUR filter key is?

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Zero

Just installed on my 2008 Suzuki GSX1300r.

Fits great and looks high quality. It is similar to my Suzuki OEM filter but costs a little less. Edit: I've started researching more and it hasn't happened to me yet, but apparently a lot of people have oil from the nut/bolt area. I can't risk it in the future. After 3,000 miles I will switch to a HiFlo HF138 with no nut at the end. Remember that the nut is not meant to be tightened. Hand tighten only. This nut is for loosening.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Long length due to nut may cause headaches during installation

Filter to fit Suzuki Hayabusa. As you can see in the picture, the nut lengthens the filter as a whole, making it a bit more difficult to get past the exhaust system and into the small tight spot where the filter attaches. If the nut stays on when it comes time to remove the filter on your next oil change, removal should be a lot easier. The space available on the Suzuki Hayabusa is so small that it was very difficult to reach the previous regular-style filter with your fingers and apply enoughโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Ideal for small homes
Cons
  • Upgrades
