Good item for motorcycle.

K&N make great products and this oil filter is no exception. The nut on top of the filter is a nice feature. Motorcycle Yamaha Road Star 1600a 2000 version.

Not the best price and when I first ordered the 303 I was sent to another Revain website for less money and ended up buying filters for the sportster

Easy to fit to oil filters

I used this item on my 1996 Honda Shadow ACE VT1100C2, these filters are very easy to remove and install. You do not need a filter wrench as there is a spot on top of the filter where you can use a head or wrench to remove the used filter. I wouldn't recommend using a wrench or socket to tighten the filter, but when screwing in a new filter after the filter has made contact with the engine, it only takes 1/2 to 3/4 turn by hand, to tighten him.

Looks great on My Valkyrie

As I find in almost all my motorcycle accessory reviews, chrome = good! With all the chrome that's on the Vakyrie, not to mention all the chrome accessories I've added, this chrome oil filter looks amazing! I would have preferred not to have a nut on top. The filter would look cleaner without it, and if you're using a wrench or socket to install the oil filter, I suspect you're overtightening it. BENEFITS * Looks great * K&N makes great products.

Good filter fits parts

This is the K&N KN303C I use on my 2006 Yamaha Silverado. This is not a standard part as my bike has an "Oil Change Kit". On my motorcycle model, I had to unscrew the exhaust pipes to change the oil. A "Conersion Kit" was then released so all that was left was to drain the oil, unscrew the old oil filter and replace it in a convenient place. The filter works well and is the same type that Yamaha sells at their dealer for a higher price. Revvan is the best.

This K&N filter replaced another brand's chrome filter.

This K&N filter replaced a different brand chrome filter from a major bike parts supplier. It's been leaking all of last season, not much, just enough to cause occasional drips. Tightening did not help, removing and cleaning contact surfaces and relubricating the seal did not help. The K&N was started this spring and I've driven several hundred miles without a leak. It looks like more oil is leaking as well, but that hasn't been tested. I only noticed more oil in the heads when I removed the…
