I am very pleased with the high quality, design and functionality of this tool. A very good grade of steel will cut metal well. I especially enjoy getting the nails out of the trim that I will be reinstalling.

These aren't really cutting tools. If you buy something to trim nails you will be disappointed. But they are great tenants. The jaws can grab even the tiniest protrusion of a nail and allow you to roll it out. They work much better for this than the traditional end cutters I've used. I'm not sure I'm disappointed that they don't cut because traditional wire cutters sometimes cut the nail I'm trying to pull out. like that . . . can be a mixed blessing.

I am very disappointed in these wire cutters. They are well built with a hard pivot point. However. They are badly designed. The dies seem to be too far from the pivot point, so they lack power. Although the handles are quite long, they find it difficult to cut more than one nail. The only use I've found for them is for pulling nails. But then I have a bucketful of nail pullers that cost a lot less than these pliers, and most of them take up less space and weigh less than these horns. This is…
