Great for fixing leads!

My 3 year old granddaughter put on her new Hanna Andersson tights and immediately hooked them in. I knew there had to be a way to fix this and after googling for a repair trick I found this device recommended. It arrived in 2 days (I gotta love Prime) and in two minutes I had my tights fixed and ready to wear. I'm sure you can do the same without this little gadget, but the DIY fix looked complicated. It was easy and absolutely perfect! I highly recommend keeping this in your sewing box!

It works, but be careful!

This item works well but you need to be very careful. If you push the hook too far, a second hook will appear and go in the opposite direction, making the hook extremely difficult to pull out and can do more damage than snagging if you're not careful. It was the only item that came close to what I was looking for, but it wasn't exactly what I wanted. I don't know why there is a second hook in the opposite direction? Obviously, this tool is meant for something other than simply dragging…

I was so angry about this case. Before.

Oooh I was so angry. I've used this to thread overlock tails and it took SO MUCH force to thread the tails through. At some point I pulled so hard that the metal part came loose from the handle. As the piece of metal moved, the hardened adhesive cut into the skin of two of my fingers along the edges. Ouch! I removed it and reluctantly reverted to the old needle method.
