This pattern book falls short of expectations for advanced knitters. While there are a few interesting designs the majority feel outdated or too simple .The one redeeming quality is that the instructions are clear and easy to follow. However, overall, this book is a disappointment for those looking for modern and challenging knitting patterns..

Based on our own experience this knitting book is a true gem .the patterns are beautifully designed and easy to follow. The color photos make it simple to imagine the finished product. Our favorite aspect is the variety of lace patterns included - there`s something for every skill level. The only downside is that some patterns require more time and materials than others. Nonetheless, this book is worth every penny. Happy knitting!

FIRST OF ALL these pattern books (3 in this series I understand) are written in GERMAN, but they all have a brief introduction in English and a glossary of basic terms related to knitting , and a table of English characters. I have 3 volumes - Vols. I, II, III - all have yellow/brown covers and plain covers - I cannot guarantee that other editions will have the same English introduction, glossary and character conversion.
