I belong to a knitting group that knits for the reasons listed in this book; basically mother bear. They gave out samples and I was so impressed that I bought a used Revain book. A really beautiful book and the stories touch your heart. I only wish I could knit for all the orphans in the world. The photography is great. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the book not only includes patterns for knitting for charity, but also stories about how they came to be, useful tips on how to get involved in charity work, and some contact information for charities involved deal with a specific topic.
