All in all a great kit. The 8 gauge feels like a true 8 gauge, unlike others which have an insulation to wire ratio far from what a 10 or even 12 gauge wire would make . The fuse holder is well made and I like the little spacers/eyelets that come with the kit to seal the wire. Dislikes: I wish you could choose the color of the power cord. Red would be nice!

Most of this kit was fine. The terminals do not match the wire; they are 2ga. not 4ga. The RCA cable had the conductor pins bent and trying to straighten them both broke exposing the plastic pin which is just plated and not a real metal conductor. The rest was fine. I'm sure not every kit has bent RCA pins so for the money it's worth it.

Newbie mistake on my part for quickly clicking the buy button before reading the specs when I needed a 4AWG kit. Since aluminum is copper clad it only fits 60 amps so I had to turn around and buy the correct pure copper version to handle the 100 amps required for my setup. The only reason I might see someone buying this kit is to save a few bucks and visually have a larger wire indicative of a more powerful amp.

Don't know yet, I just installed it, it took about 15 minutes drive when I smelled some burnt plastic smell, I stopped immediately and the smoke was coming out of my vents. opened the hood and found my fuse had blown!? I thought, well, checked the next day, pulled the fuse, it was only 50a and I only use a monoblock amp 10 jl sub tws3 wa jl audio jx1000.1d? Idk is that a lot for this kit?

I hooked up my brother's car to an amp and I wanted a 4 gauge kit. So if he wants to add a second amp we could use this kit. Everything you will be using is included in the kit, even the RCAs which helped a lot so I didn't have to buy them separately. The quality of this product is really good and definitely worth the money, the cord was long and flexible allowing me to get it around corners and under carpet. Overall a good product and would recommend to others.
