Worn size: cable

I used to have similar splicers and never had any problems. They don't seem to be a very good size as it's almost impossible to fit the right size rope in the tools, they should have been returned.

Pros
  • trial period for one year
Cons
  • doubt

Product as described and photographed, works well

If you know how to use this tool you will be happy with this purchase. It's a very simple tool that you can't go wrong with. We only needed one of the sizes, but the price is still right.

Pros
  • Good product for its price

I haven't used them for 20 years

But when I wanted to connect the rope I couldn't find them on site. People looked at me like I was crazy and asked for food. Revain had them and they work great. If you need to connect a rope to a hollow core, this will do the trick.

Pros
  • Durable workmanship

Rough finish and hanging in the rope. Thumbs down!

Like a chick says "cheap, chesp, cheap". They have rough edges and snap into my $50 3/8 inch double braid main line. Save $5 and don't buy it unless you need a sharp piece of plastic.

Not that bad. good for welders and accessories

They were great for the price, only thing is the 1/4" was very difficult to fit a 1/4" Amsteel in and when sizing 3/8 , it was very difficult to get him through the middle of Amstil. With some skill I was able to get it working and get the job done.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Safety

Sticks to everything, terrible quality

The words are raised on the sides so they stick to the inside of the rope, there are holes on the pointed end that also stick to the rope, the plastic on the open End bends inward making it very difficult to keep rope in it long enough to complete threading/splicing and the like.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions

does the job. their current price.

Serves its purpose. The actual price for them should be $5 max, these are cheap plastic chucks that are literally out of shape. One would expect a little more effort to complete $10 feeds. As you can see in the photo, you need to clean the edges so that the fishing line does not stick to the fibers of the fishing line.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Not suitable for the task

Instead of pushing through the hollow core, the sharp point attempts to pierce the tiny threads that make up the bundle. does not stick to fibers. Even the bulging Koch Industries emblem is stuck to threads and needs to be sanded down. Since the rope needed to be repaired quickly, I used the end of a caulk tube and taped the rope in place. Then use a small diameter dowel to push through the braid and patch the plastic cord. These feeders sit in the trash can, only to find a permanent home in a…
