Standard for black and white film.

standard in black and white film, in my humble opinion. When I was working we used to shoot these things in the yard. Yes kids, up until 2000 we just shot on film and then scanned the negatives and waited to process them by hand to see our results! Admittedly this is very time consuming, but STILL it has more depth, clarity and aura than any digital camera can give.

Good Film Bad Experience

I bought this film for a project with an additional program. Good stable results with excellent shadow detail. It does exactly what I wanted, although overall I prefer the look and feel of the Ilford HP5.der. They limit the total amount you can purchase so I had to try to find a replacement. They don't notify you about it until you've reached the limit, otherwise it's not a problem.

A good film, not quite "cinematic ".

later This is a good film if you want high contrast and natural sharpness that looks better than digital but not as grainy as traditional black and white film. Be careful when choosing a developer for this film, I like the results best with Xtol or 1:1 stock but D-76 works on stock (I don't recommend diluting D-76). This film doesn't offer the classic "cinematic" look in my opinion, try the Illford HP5 in D-76 or the Illford ID-11 if you like.
