Review on Kodak 400 TMAX Professional ISO 400: High-Quality Black and White Film with 36mm Size and 36 Exposures by Jonathan Reddick

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good film, not quite "cinematic ".

later This is a good film if you want high contrast and natural sharpness that looks better than digital but not as grainy as traditional black and white film. Be careful when choosing a developer for this film, I like the results best with Xtol or 1:1 stock but D-76 works on stock (I don't recommend diluting D-76). This film doesn't offer the classic "cinematic" look in my opinion, try the Illford HP5 in D-76 or the Illford ID-11 if you like.
