This is a great product. This is definitely one of my favorites.

Great product. This is definitely one of my favorite films. He's captured some of the best skin tones and really impresses viewers. I'm often asked if the photo was taken by a Hollywood studio (and I'm by no means the best photographer in the world). One thing I repeat he's not very good at is dim lighting. At Disneyland (for example) I photographed the main street at night. I could only see the popcorn lights on the buildings and some castles at the end of Main Street, but everything else was…

Above average film with its own advantages

Glad I tried this film. It's cheaper than Portra 400, which is a superior film in every way. Average results can sometimes occur, slightly different from Ultramax with normal exposure. But where it shines is overexposure, which does it pretty well. I would shoot this at ISO 160 and overexpose 1-1.5 stops (halve upper aperture and/or shutter speed) and it works really well. Really depends on the lens. I shot this with a Canonet QL17 GIII and it produced flat and dull results (first image). I…

Beautiful colour, attractive image texture, slightly grainy

I *love* Portra 160. I love, love, love.
