Kohler Forte 1.75 GPM Multifunction Showerhead with Katalyst Air-Induction Technology in Polished Chrome Review

If you like showerheads that make you rain, but want something a little more powerful, this showerhead is for you. It has three positions: one is very strong, the other is like a dense fog, and then the normal mode. Has a lot of pressure, but not too much. It's not like little needles are hitting you.

I bought this showerhead because it was the top choice on Wirecutter.com. Unfortunately, I'm disappointed with the water flow and build quality. The power of the main jet is low compared to the budget shower head I've had before, and the massage jet and mist are basically useless. Re: build quality, this is a cheap plastic build that doesn't justify the $70+ price tag. Too bad I chose something else.

The spray patterns are great - I use every single one in the shower. I don't feel like I'm getting enough water. But while the body and mechanism are all metal, the individual nozzles are plastic and their lifespan is somewhat questionable. My experience with the durability of other Kohler products is not encouraging. Must be considered when considering a value proposition.

I bought it a month ago and it offers a good and wide water flow at a low flow rate but I'm not sure if it was worth the high price. I've had many $10 showerheads that are almost as good. If you're updating something terrible, do yourself a favor and buy a cheap, decently reviewed $10 minimalist head and see how it goes before you spend on the thing. I'd say it's a 10% improvement over $10 heads at best.

What started out as painfully adequate has now become a crushing disappointment as the shower head is now leaking water (as seen in the video). This product seemed cheap right away and once installed it worked satisfactorily on the bottom end (what was easy was the shower head). Now that our relationship has lasted several months — and the easy return date has passed — it's become a daily annoyance and has put Kohler on my personal book of the damned.

Great no frills shower head. Good build quality, easy installation (with sanitary tape), easy operation. The mode switch has a very nice click, I find myself switching modes unnecessarily just to experience it. The mist setting (innermost circle) is actually pretty cool, nice and gentle yet full protection that's good for washing your face. I bought this because I felt guilty about having a shower head with a strong flow. This uses about 1/3 of my previous ones, which is good. I really like the three spray options as they are completely different. Some reviewers don't like the fog, but I like the feel of it. You'll need to adjust the water temperature when switching to mist from either of the other two, because mist releases heat into the room air faster, so the mist between the shower head and your body cools down more than other

After reading all the reviews I decided to ask a friend to remove the water restrictor for me I don't need low water pressure for such a cool new shower head. I had to try the restrictor before taking it off because WOW! Without them, the water pressure is too high. I bet if I just left him alone that would be fine. Apart from that I have already bought the same shower head AGAIN and will try to sell the fake one I have on the fb marketplace with a disclaimer (LOL) to try and get some money…
